This course helps you expand your knowledge about boats from small inflatables to large liveaboards. You'll gain experience scuba diving by completing two dives from a boat.

You'll learn about:

  1. Boat diving planning, organization, procedures, techniques, problems and hazards
  2. Proper boat diving etiquette, including equipment storage and conduct
  3. Common boat terminology
  4. Specific and local boat diving laws and ordinances
  5. Overview of emergency and safety equipment needed on private dive boats

 

Course Requirements:

  • Age - 10 years or older
  • Junior Open Water Diver certification or above
  • Purchase and Study trianing materials
    • Option 1: PADI Boat Diver manual $
    • Option 2: PADI Boat Diver manual eLearning $125

Course Cost:

  • Sign-up Fee $135 includes Certification card, 1 day of boat diving 
  • $75 Instruction Fee 

Course Sessions:

  • 1 Classroom Session: Lecture, Knowledge Reviews
  • Ocean Session 1 day - 2 dives
